The Rundown: As Hellboy finds his connection to Mjolnir harder to dismiss, he will discover a plan to bring back an ancient evil.

Abe wakes up to commotion in the house and finds Hellboy in a fight against a group of dark elves. After distracting the attackers, Hellboy continues his hunt for their missing host. As he chases the man through the streets, another group of elves attacks and in the aftermath Hellboy finds himself being greeted by two dwarves who tell him they are there to protect him.

Hellboy continues to struggle with reliving the memories of Thor as his connection to the Norse god’s weapon continues to grow stronger. When Hellboy and Abe discover that Aickman is attempting to resurrect the king of the frost giants, they enlist the man’s daughter to help them. As they continue their investigation, a lead is attacked and their journey will bring them to a ceremony. One designed for resurrection and they might already be too late to stop it.

The Story: Mignola and Golden continue to craft a fun, exciting and thrilling story in this issue. There are some great twists and turns throughout the plot and Hellboy’s struggle with Mjolnir continues to be compelling and interesting to see evolve. The dialogue and plot kept me engaged throughout and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

The Art: Matt Smith delivers some impressive and beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. There are several beautifully thrilling visuals to be found.
