Deron GenerallyMike Mignola created the character of Hellboy in 1993 and now a new version of the character is about to make its way to the big screen.
Mignola wrote the script for a new Hellboy film with Andrew Cosby and Christopher Golden and it is being directed by Game of Thrones and Descent helmer Neil Marshall. The new Hellboy film will star David Harbour (Stranger Things) in the lead as Hellboy along with Ian McShane (American Gods), Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil series) and Daniel Dae Kim (Hawaii 5-0).
Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment have also announced a release date for the film which will land in theaters January 11, 2019.
