Deron GenerallyMarvel Studios and Disney Plus are beginning production on an original Halloween special and they have found their lead actor.
Gael Garcia Bernal has been cast in the upcoming Marvel Studios special. Garcia Bernal is known for his roles in films like Y Tu Mama Tambien, The Motorcycle Diaries and Babel as well as series like Mozart in the Jungle. He was most recently featured in M Night Shyamalan’s Old.
The currently untitled Disney Plus special will take place within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the rumor is that it will feature the character of Jake Gomez aka the second Werewolf by Night from the comics. Gomez discovers at the age of 13 that he can transform into a werewolf without the full moon and proceeds to use his power to protect people. Marvel Studios is currently in production on the Moon Knight series for Disney Plus and the character of Moon Knight made his first appearance in Werewolf by Night #32.
No other information about the production is available, but we will definitely be following it to reveal more.
