All good things must come to an end and it looks like they have for the Mother of Dragons according to Emilia Clarke’s Instagram.

Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons, took to Instagram to commemorate her last day of shooting on the set of season 8 of the popular series and left a message to fans of the series and the character.

Hopped on a boat to an island to say goodbye to the land that has been my home away from home for almost a decade. It’s been a trip @gameofthrones thank you for the life I never dreamed I’d be able to live and the family I’ll never stop missing #💔#lastseasonitis

She is the first to wrap her character, but will not be the last. As the rest of the cast wraps their perspective roles in the final season, the speculation on the fate of these beloved characters will begin in earnest as fans try and determine who lives and who dies before the series returns in 2019.

Emilia Clarke can currently be seen in Solo: A Star Wars Story and her next role is in the film Above Suspicion.
