The Rundown: Jo looks for clues about what happened at the party and discovers that there is more to this place than she imagined.

In the aftermath of the party, Jo is desperate to leave the area, but she is going to need Astor’s help. Unfortunately, he’s too wasted to help and Jo decides to investigate the house looking for proof she can present to him. After finding things that could help her, she decides to dig deeper to find evidence that Astor’s father and the others are killers. She finds something for her boyfriend, but also arouses the suspicions of the nanny. After revealing herself, Petal decides to give the woman the chance to talk about what she discovered at the party the night before.

Unfortunately, Jo discovers that not only are her suspicions correct, but Petal knows everything about what she saw the night before. The next day, Jo tries to act like everything is fine even with the revelations made last night. As she tries to fit in at another party, Astor’s stepmother finds her and wants to have a talk about what she saw.

The Story: Gailey crafts an interesting and engaging story in this issue. Even with all the cards on the table, there are still mysteries waiting to be uncovered. What makes the story so interesting is that Gailey is able to bring the reader into Jo’s world and keep everything at a level of tension that makes you excited for what could happen next.

The Art: Bak delivers some fantastic artwork in this issue. The style is perfect for the story and its setting. A great looking issue from start to finish with a brilliant use of shadow.
