Over the holiday weekend, while people were enjoying barbecue and fireworks, Disney’s Aladdin continued to be magical at the box office.

Aladdin (Mena Massoud) meets the larger-than-life blue Genie (Will Smith) in Disney’s live-action adaptation ALADDIN, directed by Guy Ritchie.

According to Deadline, Disney’s Aladdin crossed over $900 million at the international box office this weekend. Directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Will Smith, Aladdin has been a runaway hit all over the world since its premiere. It has become one of the biggest live action titles for the studio ever and joins Beauty and Beast, The Jungle Book and Pirates of the Caribbean in this milestone.

The film is currently the 3rd biggest film of the year domestically and worldwide. It’s projected to reach $950 million by the end of its theatrical run.
