The Rundown: Sophie and Tommy team up for a strange mission to find a way to help their fallen party members.

Sophie discovers that three members of the party are dead and Callum is the reason. After trying to find him, she gives up the search after trying to get one of the gods to help her. Returning to Tommy and the room, they see the party members have become fallen and they have to find a way to bind them to keep them from perpetually killing each other or attacking them.

With few options, they discover that there is a way to get something they need to keep the others safe, but it will require them to do something unusual to win a contest. A contest Tommy will have to enter and reveal his darkest secret if they have a chance of winning.

The Story: Gillen continues to craft a thrilling, engaging and entertaining story in this issue. I continue to find myself engaged in the world of this story and its characters. I like how the story is expanding and mixing new and interesting narrative elements and dynamics throughout the issue. I like that this issue has a different tonal feel from the last one and I cannot wait to see where this story goes next and that uncertainty adds to my excitement.

The Art: Hans creates beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. I love the look of this series and how wonderfully unique this comic continues to be.
