The live action Stargirl series is coming soon and two more members of the cast have been announced.

In what is shaping up to be a JSA reunion, Justice Society of America members Wildcat and Hourman have been added to the cast of the upcoming series.

According to multiple sources, Lou Ferrigno Jr has joined the cast as founding JSA member Rex “Hourman” Tyler. Created by Ken Fitch and Bernard Baily, Hourman is a biochemist who created a pill that would grant him the powers of flight, superhuman strength, speed and durability for one hour after taking it. Lou Ferrigno Jr is known for roles on How I Met Your Mother, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD and S.W.A.T.

Brian Stapf has joined the cast as Ted “Wildcat” Grant. Created by Bill Finger and Irwin Hasen, Wildcat doesn’t have superpowers. He is an expert fighter and professional boxer in peak physical condition. He has mentored and trained several DC heroes in the art of fighting including Batman, Black Canary and even Superman. Brian Stapf is known for his roles in series like The Walking Dead and The Purge.

Stargirl is expected to launch on DC Universe in 2019.
