DC Comics has a slew of new storylines coming this year from some of the best creators in the industry and they want to give fans an opportunity to preview those new stories for an amazing price.

For a quarter, you can pick up a copy of DC Nation #0. This is a special sampler issue featuring preview pages from some of the biggest characters in the DC universe by some of the best writers and artists around. The 32 page issue will feature three stories that are coming this year from DC Comics.

Brian Michael Bendis will be writing a six-issue miniseries titled Man of Steel that is expected to shake up and retell the origin story of Superman before the former Marvel writer takes on writing both Action Comics and Superman in July. The preview in DC Nation will be drawn from legendary artist Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez and will serve as a prologue to the series which will feature new artists every issue.

Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV, Joshua Williamson and Jorge Jiminez will be hard at work on the weekly series Justice League: No Justice, which will feature multiple teams of heroes and villains attempting to stop a threat to the multiverse with help from Superman’s nemesis Brainiac.

The third story, which will usher in something huge for the Dark Knight, comes from the Batman creative team of Tom King and Clay Mann. The story will deal with the upcoming wedding of Batman and Catwoman and what happens after Batman’s toughest villain The Joker finds out about it. I guarantee he’s someone who will not hold his peace and will definitely let his objections be known.

DC Comics will also be using the issue to showcase their new magazine, also titled DC Nation, which will showcase and promote DC Comics products and materials starting June 6.

DC Nation #0 will be released May 2nd for the cost of twenty-five cents.
