The Rundown: Liana and the Captain fight to prevent the entity from returning to the surface.
Martin and Liana share a final moment together before the pair finally decide to both launch the sub to the surface and destroy the Absolution. Martin knows only one of them will make it so he separates from Liana to give her the chance to get to the sub while he confronts the creature that is absorbing the rest of the crew.
As Martin confronts the entity, including his brother, Liana makes her way to the sub after beginning the sequence to destroy the ship. The creature that has taken Kate attempts to stop her as the ship begins to implode as it reaches crush depth.
The Story: Andry and Daniel brings this story to a dark, thrilling and entertaining conclusion. The finale delivers on the dark sci-fi tone of the story and the action and tension rise to great heights as the story moves to its unexpected and engaging final confrontation. I love the final moments of this story and would love to revisit this world again.
The Art: Sanchez delivers powerful art throughout the issue. I love the beautifully detailed characters and creatures throughout the issue.
