The Rundown: While Captain Planet fights Captain Pollution, the Planeteers fight to free Gaia.

Plunder’s reactor is going into overdrive and the power it’s stealing from the captured Gaia is causing devastation throughout the world. At the same time, Captain Planet is in a pitched battle with Plunder in his new form as Captain Pollution.
As things go from bad to worse, the Planeteers regroup to free and rescue Gaia. Unfortunately their plan proves to be extremely dangerous not just because of the energy involved, but also Blight working against them. The team has one chance to stop the reactor and free Gaia, but one of them might pay with their life in the attempt.
The Story: Pepose brings this arc to a stunning, action packed conclusion that not only takes these characters in a new and interesting direction, but also reminds the reader of why Captain Planet and his planeteers are so special. I really enjoyed the pulse pounding action, the thrills and the heart in this issue and look forward to seeing more adventures from this group.
The Art: Casallos delivers some visually stunning art throughout the issue. The character designs are fantastic and the art perfectly captures the pulse pounding suspense and tension of the story.
