The Rundown: Will and Mabel descend into darkness to stop a growing evil and find a lost friend.

With time running out, Will and Mabel descend deeper into the Canary mine in an attempt to find Ed and stop the evil rising up from its depths. Their adventure will take them deeper into the pit then they ever imagined and into a place filled with horrors and wonders lorded over by the twisted form of Mabel’s father.

At the same time, Will continues to deal with the ghosts of his past. Ghosts that the evil they’re fighting will use to tempt him to abandon his mission and join them in the darkness they plan to unleash on the world.

The Story: Snyder brings this story to an intense, thrilling and compelling conclusion. The story is filled with great tension, terror and action with a fantastic level of suspense that puts the reader into every moment with Will and the others. There are some great moments throughout the story and I would love to revisit this world again.

The Art: Panosian delivers fantastic art throughout the issue. The visuals are striking and filled with fantastic details.
