The Rundown: The kids find themselves training in Camelot as their adversary is finally revealed.

Marnie has been taken and finds herself sitting in an interrogation room while being grilled about the location of her grandson. The kids find themselves in Camelot and their handler and Merlin prepare to train them as their parents believe they have been taken to a resort.

The kids are not allowed to use their magical weapons and discover that they are underprepared for the danger that they face as Merlin and the weapons tell them the truth of what happened to the knights of the roundtable and about Mordred who betrayed them. At the same time, Marnie is reunited with Mordred and his powerful master.

The Story: Taylor creates a fun and engaging story in this issue. I continue to enjoy these characters and the fun, interesting and magical world Taylor is creating in this series. There isn’t a lot of action in the issue, but the story does take the time to give the reader more time to get to know the characters as well as lead them to an intriguing and unexpected reveal.

The Art: Di Nicuolo creates some beautiful art throughout the issue. I continue to love the cartoon style of this series and how perfectly it fits with the tone of the story.
