The Rundown: When Diabolos invades Earth, Hit Girl takes one final opportunity to stop Gibson’s cabal for good.
In the wake of their victory, Diabolos appears and sends a message to the planet. After meeting with Gibson and his group and determining where the real power on Earth lies, none of them notice Hit Girl take off with their time machine.
Using the time machine to gather a force of heroes to help her, Hit Girl and the others return to the present to fight for the planet and its future. At the same time, Kick-Ass discovers that there is another secret order behind the scenes and manages to convince them to step out of the shadows and help the heroes fight.
The Story: Millar brings this story to a bombastic, explosive and truly cinematic conclusion that brings together every character I love from Millar’s pantheon of stories. I loved every moment, fight, quip and reveal within this issue and every moment was truly satisfying for fans of the characters and their worlds. I would absolutely love to see more crossover events like this one in the future.
The Art: Larraz delivers some of the best action I’ve seen in comics in a long time. The visuals truly capture some breathtaking moments both with the action and the characters.
