The latest addition to the highly successful and critically acclaimed pantheon of DC Comics animated films will soon be available to purchase on Digital and Blu-Ray coming this August.

From an original story by animation icon Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series) and director Sam Liu (Batman: The Killing Joke) comes a story that sees The Dark Knight and Nightwing teaming up with Harley Quinn to take on a global threat from Harley’s friend and former partner Poison Ivy. Ivy and Jason Woodrue, aka The Floronic Man, have decided to save the planet. Unfortunately, their plan includes taking out most of humanity to do it. As Batman and Nightwing attempt to stop Ivy and her scheme, the dynamic duo has to deal with the unpredictable and scheming Harley along the way.

Batman and Harley Quinn features some familiar voices led by Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series) reprising his role as the Dark Knight, alongside Melissa Rauch (The Big Bang Theory) making her debut as the irrepressible Harley Quinn. Loren Lester, the voice of Robin in Batman: The Animated Series, returns as Nightwing.
