Batman confronts the Designer in his office at Wayne Tower and the villain prompts the hero to reveal the grand design he has been fighting to stop. After going over the entire plan from start to finish, including how his rogue’s gallery would play their parts, he proceeds to his final challenge against the Designer himself. Unfortunately for the Dark Knight, uncovering all the details of the grand design and its designer will be too late to stop what’s coming.

At the same time, Catwoman works to secure the Wayne fortune from the Underbroker and transfer it to her accounts. A task made more difficult with the attack of Punchline and her fight against Harley Quinn. Just when Selina thinks she has the upper hand, she will soon discover that Joker has been one step ahead of her.

The Story: James Tynion IV is gearing up to put Batman and everyone he cares for through the ringer with this latest story. Not only is it exciting and brilliantly paced, but I was on the edge of my seat wondering what twists would come next and when they were revealed, I was excited by the prospect of not being able to predict what would happen next and how it would unfold.

The Art: Guillem March and Javier Fernandez do some astounding work with the art in this issue. The action is visceral and full of energy. The final pages and what they reveal are pitch perfect and the Harley/Punchline fight is brutal. A great looking issue from start to finish.
