The Rundown: Weyland-Yutani’s takeover of an engineering site is going to become a lot more hostile.

In the aftermath of Weyland-Yutani coming in and taking over the Talbot site, the company prepares to unearth a xenomorph nest under the ice. What they don’t know is that the aliens are not as dormant as they think. At the same time, Bayta finds herself being confronted by Wendell while her husband is still locked up and her daughter is missing.

Meanwhile, Zasha tries to escape with the biological sample they discovered and when she is caught, both she and the soldier holding her discover it is no longer frozen. Outside the complex, an explosion will draw the unfrozen aliens to more prey.

The Story: Shalvey delivers some great action throughout the issue. The story is filled with thrills and horror and I enjoyed the rise in both the tension and terror in the story. The human characters are given more to do and I really enjoy how they are utilized and placed to increase the emotional tension within the arc.

The Art: Broccardo delivers some stunning visuals throughout the issue. The art is lively and captures the tension and terror of the story beautifully.
