Sony Animation has released a new trailer for the animated feature Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

In the new trailer, Miles Morales not only has to deal with being a son, a student and a hero, but his problems get exponentially bigger when an accident opens a rift in dimensions bringing multiple spider heroes to his world.

Miles has to learn to be the hero his city needs and Peter Parker is willing to teach him what it takes to wear the mantle of Spider-Man. Fortunately for Miles, Peter will not be alone as he gets visits from Gwen Stacy, Spider-Man Noir and Spider-Ham as well. Together, they will show the world that more than one person can wear the mask.

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street, bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. Spider-Man™: Into the Spider-Verse introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse opens in theaters December 14, 2018.
