The Rundown: A new threat emerges that will use anyone and everyone she sees to be free.

Brooklyn and his mate continue to seek the aid of Macbeth in their mission to end Demona once and for all as Demona returns to her home after stealing their egg. As the Gargoyles enter their sleep and Elisa returns home, none of them realize that an ancient danger has emerges and is using them for her own ends.

As everyone sleeps and plans, Queen Mab rides through their dreams causing nightmares and more to steal what she needs to finally free herself from the prison she resides in. A prison Oberon banished her to as two of her henchmen enlist the Lord of Nightmare to help her finally escape and get her revenge.

The Story: Weisman crafts a dark and twisting tale that reminds of everything I love about this series both the comics and the animated series itself. I love the callbacks to Shakespeare with the prose and iambic pentameter used throughout the story and how so many of the characters fears and emotions are being weaponized. The story takes some really interesting turns with the characters it highlights and I cannot wait to see where the story goes next.

The Art: Gambone and Miracolo create some beautifully detailed and visually stunning art throughout the issue. I love the effect of Mab riding through the world and the minds of the characters. It looks amazing.
