The Rundown: In the aftermath of a murder, Timmy does something that gives the killer motive to kill him.

Timmy continues to narrate the story of his time on the television show as well as the circumstances that will eventually lead to his murder. His thoughts drift to his former co star and current America’s Sweetheart Hanna and a secret he learns from one of his co-stars after the series is over before he pays a visit to another former co-star and tells her about the screenplay he’s written. A screenplay that dramatizes the real-life murder they were both involved in.
Timmy tries to get his friend Gil to read the screenplay as well as he thinks back on the event itself and who called him to rush over to Selina’s. A move that will bring him into the dark side of their show and give one of the members of the cast motive to shut him up.
The Story: King continues to craft an interesting mystery with even more interesting layers for the reader to uncover. There are some great characters and character moments throughout the issue and I love that the story is given the chance to breathe so that characters, motives and relationships can inform the reader and deepen the mystery at the heart of the story. It also helps that the victim is the narrator and I love that twist.
The Art: Hernandez Walta creates some beautifully detailed and visually engaging art throughout the issue. I love the look of the issue and how it crafts the city.
