The Rundown: Superman and Batman battle in the world of dreams while their proteges fight a different battle.

Dream Team
Superman and Batman team with Zatanna when they discover that Dr. Destiny has used the dreamstone to stop the world from sleeping. After entering the dream realm, they find themselves dealing with their choices, their action and their foes before circumstances and their different philosophies cause them to face each other to the death.
Waid crafts an entertaining story in this issue. The story has great character moments and continues to grow and evolve the dynamic between Batman and Superman by challenging them with their own ideas about each other. I continue to be blown away by Dan Mora’s art and need more of it.
Strum Und Drang
Supergirl and Batgirl team up to find a long-lost artifact that Robin and Jimmy Olsen challenged them to find. As the two teams begin their contest to discover the lost item, they find it together and bring it back to the Batcave where Batman and Superman discover too late what the artifact is and more importantly, what it was used for.
Waid crafts a fun and thrilling story filled with genuine laughs and a fun, free spirit that is necessary for these characters. I love the dynamic between both teams as well as the banter between them. Gutierrez creates some beautifully detailed and visually exciting visuals throughout the story.
