The Rundown: AIM needs a new Tony Stark and the original will soon discover why.

Madame Masque has teamed with AIM and they need a new scientist. Unfortunately, the one they found is not who they were looking for and he pays the ultimate price for failure. At the same time, Iron Man is fighting Blizzard when he gets a call that he is late to present the first Tony Stark Award at his own party and he flies off to present it with the help of his new ally Melinda May and old friend Pepper Potts.
At the after party, they are attacked and Pepper is kidnapped. Giving chase and getting her back, Tony realizes that it was a distraction to kidnap the real target. Putting the pieces together, Tony puts in a call to Steve Rogers to let him know that something he fears could be coming to fruition and he needs help.
The Story: Williamson creates some thrilling moments throughout this issue while also planting the seeds of an interesting mystery with Stark at its center. I love the banter and dialogue with the characters, especially May and Tony. I really loved seeing Pepper return and the story has some great connection to Stark as well as sets up an interesting cliffhanger after speaking to Steve and who was with him at the end of the issue.
The Art: Carnero creates some beautifully detailed and visually thrilling art throughout the issue. I love the intensity of the action and how awesome the character designs are.
