The Rundown: Lion-O attempts to learn the secrets of the Book of Omens while Panthro makes a discovery in orbit around the planet.

Panthro discovers that he is healthy after his battle with Mumm-Ra and decides to begin a new mission. A mission that will bring him to a new spaceship. One that will bring him to the stars outside of Third Earth where he will discover a space station seemingly abandoned in orbit. A station that not only has advanced technology, but information that the Thundercats might find useful.

On the planet, Lion-O struggles to reveal the secrets of the Book of Omens and chides the spirit of Jaga for his secrets. After talking with Calica and meeting with the rest of the Thundercats, Lion-O thinks of Jaga’s cryptic message and discovers a way of opening the book.

The Story: Shalvey crafts an engaging story in this issue. There are some great layers to the story with Panthro’s journey and Lion-O’s. I like the tension between Lion-O and Jaga as well as Panthro’s desire to be useful. The story progresses to some great reveals with Panthro discovering the space station above Third Earth and its connection to the Silverhawks as well as Lion-O discovering the key to the Book of Omens. There is something big brewing in this arc and I am here for it.

The Art: Moss creates some great art in the issue. I love the visuals and its focus on the characters.
