The Rundown: Bruce Wayne’s date takes an unexpected turn into an assassination attempt.

Bruce picks up Doctor Zeller to go to dinner and both insist that it is not a date. Unfortunately, their evening is interrupted by a pack of motorcycle assassins carrying swords who force them off the road. As Bruce tries to keep Zeller alive, the pair find themselves facing another threat.

After fighting off another assassin called the Ojo, the pair make it to the rooftops where they are found again by the killer. Fortunately, they are rescued by Robin who swoops in to stop the attack, but lets something slip that could change everything.

The Story: Fraction crafts a thrilling, adrenaline filled adventure in this issue. I love the action and thrills throughout the story and the banter between Bruce and Zeller. There is some great action throughout the story as Bruce tries to keep the doctor alive without revealing his identity and there are some cute and engaging moments leading up to a cliffhanger that made me chuckle.

The Art: Jimenez creates some beautifully detailed art in the issue. The story is heavily action based and Jimenez’ art creates a sense of movement on every page.
