The Rundown: Johnny and his friends have a final confrontation with Sharon.

Surrounded by mercenaries and twisted versions of his own creation, Johnny and his friends find themselves at the mercy of his business partner Sharon who wants to finish the job she started by trying to have him killed. The friends decide to fight back and manage to escape before Sharon shows what she’s really working on as the rig they are on turns into a giant mech.
As the mech rises from the sea, the friends fight to escape and Johnny becomes the target of Sharon’s wrath as she turns the weapons on him and he has to use all his skill and guile to find a way to not only stop Sharon, but to save his friends as well.
The Story: Warren and Remender deliver a thrilling, entertaining conclusion in this issue. The story takes some big swings with the action throughout the issue and doesn’t let up. One of the things I really loved about it was that the action within the story didn’t remove the emotional stakes for the characters and the final moments of the epic battle were emotionally charged and earned. I really enjoyed this series and I hope that the writers return to this world again.
The Art: Mobili crafts beautifully detailed and visually stunning art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and the progression of action.
