The Rundown: Cloak and Dagger find themselves on the same plane of existence fighting to protect a group of civilians.

Cloak is injured by Fenris as both Dagger and their daughter Ayla arrive in the same plane. As Dagger takes on the mutants to protect her husband, Ayla uses her power to heal her father allowing the pair to work together to drive off the attack. With time running out and civilians to evacuate, Cloak, Dagger and their allies look for a way to stop Fenris and give the military time to evacuate the civilians.
After explaining the reason why they have been separated, the parents attempt to take their child back into the in-between realm she resides in, but her powers manifest and she leaves the area. After tracking her down, the parents realize the toll their life is having on their child before Fenris returns and attacks the pair. A move that will force the couple to bring them down once and for all.
The Story: Ireland brings this story to a satisfying and entertaining conclusion that reminds me why I love these characters and their dynamic so much. There is great action throughout the story as well as fun and engaging dialogue and character moments. I would pick up a new Cloak and Dagger series with Ireland writing it.
The Art: Tammetta and Audino create beautifully detailed and visually impressive art throughout the issue. I love the character designs a lot.
