The Rundown: The League enlists some time displaced heroes for a dangerous mission connected to rampaging villains.

All over the world, the remaining heroes of the Justice League are leading efforts to evacuate civilians from affected cities as others are off fighting in a tournament for the sake of the universe. Batgirl and Atom discover that Polka Dot Man is using the evacuation as a means of robbing a bank, but confronting him becomes dangerous for the heroes.
Terrific gathers heroes at the Watchtower to tell them that some of their more small time villains have seemingly been enhanced and the remaining League members are finding their fights difficult. After coming up with a theory as to why these villains aren’t escaping, he recruits a team of time displaced heroes to follow him on a dangerous mission that could provide the answers he seeks.
The Story: Waid delivers huge thrills and action throughout this issue. I love seeing the world and events outside of the DC K.O. storyline and how the remaining heroes are trying to keep things together while evacuating others. I like that Terrific is in charge of the League and how he is utilizing time displaced heroes to help stop the villains on a rampage. There is also some great drama in the story as well and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
The Art: Dan Mora delivers some breathtaking art throughout this issue. The visual style is unmatched and the imagery is brilliantly immersive.
