The cast of Critical Role is in New York for this year’s New York Comic Con and they brought along a new trailer for the upcoming animated series The Mighty Nein.

The new trailer not only features the cast of the series, but also focuses on the Luxon Beacon, a device that some believe to be divine in nature and others believe to be a source of untapped power. As the conflict over this relic brings two kingdoms to the brink of war, a party of adventurers find themselves in the middle of political intrigue and more.

The Mighty Nein follows a group of fugitives and outcasts, bound by secrets and scars. But when a powerful arcane relic known as “The Beacon” falls into dangerous hands, they must learn to work together to save the realm and stop reality itself from unraveling.

Prime Video also revealed additional guest cast for The Mighty Nein which includes Academy-Award Winner Anjelica Huston (BBC’s Towards Zero and Lionsgate’s From the World of John Wick: Ballerina), Lucy Liu (Rosemead, Presence), Nathan Fillion (The Rookie, Superman) T’Nia Miller (The Fall of the House of Usher and The Peripheral), Felicia Day (Supernatural, Eureka), Graham McTavish (Outlander and The Hobbit Trilogy) and Ivanna Sankho (Hsoka, M3GAN 2.0).
