The Rundown: Asami is captured and Macraith is given a dangerous choice if he wants her back.

Macraith was tasked with retrieving the rune stone from Mohan’s lair and succeeds with the help of the Caledonian and his forces. Unfortunately, Asami is captured by a man from her past and brought to Mohan’s camp.
When Mohan tracks down Macraith, he gives him a choice to return the rune stone or watch Asami die. With the decision to save the woman he loves made, Macraith confronts the Caledonian only to discover that the stone is a doorway. A doorway that will lead him to another part of the island and a chance to save Asami.
The Story: Duggan delivers an engaging, thrilling and entertaining story in this issue. I continue to enjoy the evolution of the character relationships as well as the revelations made in this issue. I found myself intrigued with the rune stone and what it means for the characters. I also really enjoyed the cliffhanger and what it means for the characters going forward.
The Art: Brown creates some beautifully detailed and intense art throughout the issue. I love the visuals style of the series and how brilliant compelling the art is.
