The Rundown: The team’s vacation is brutally interrupted by an attack from Galactor.
The Science Ninja Team is on a much needed vacation on the sea when a giant metal squid descends off shore and begins generating an artificial typhoon which is headed towards the city. Unable to contact the team, Dr. Nambu must wait and hope that they discover what is happening.
Trapped in the eye of the storm, the Science Ninja Team suits up and uses advice from Ryu to help them work with the sea and tis creatures to find a way to get to and infiltrate the giant mecha before it is too late.
The Story: Humphries creates a thrilling, fun adventure in this issue. The story is a fun ride from start to finish and captures everything I love about these characters and this world. The story is tight, the action is thrilling and builds to a satisfying conclusion that makes me excited to see what happens next.
The Art: Qualano delivers stunning art throughout the issue. The art in this issue hit me right in the feels as it looks like the anime both in style and substance.
