The Rundown: Cyclops has an interesting run in with Lundqvist that will lead to a cell.

Cyclops heads to a local diner for a meeting with Agent Lundqvist. A meeting that takes a dramatic turn when the agent sucker punches him as soon as he walks in. Things get more intense after that when Lundqvist confronts Scott about harboring Ben and not telling him about 3K turning humans into mutants. At the same time, Beast deals with the reality of what he was offered as the rest of the team works on rebuilding their ship.
As their fight rages, both Cyclops and Lundqvist are confronted by the local sheriff who decides that they both need to be in cells for breaking up the place. As the pair sit in their cells, the continue their conversation and Cyclops not only learns more about Lundqvist, but also that the new head of his organization is a mutant.
The Story: MacKay creates an entertaining and engaging story in this issue. Keeping it grounded and personal is s great touch as the bigger themes at play with this group are tackled with Cyclops and Lundqvist one on one. I like that there is more to the character than just a government thug and it is interesting exploring the dynamic between he and Scott. I’m interested in seeing where this story goes next.
The Art: Diaz delivers visually stunning art throughout the issue. I love the style of the characters as well as the dynamic details of the action.
