Deron GenerallyJJ Abrams Bad Robot production company and Paramount are bringing audiences a new movie that many think might be part of the Cloverfield universe.
Bad Robot is in production on a new film set during World War II called Overlord. Written by Billy Ray (The Hunger Games) and directed by Julius Avery (Son of a Gun), Overlord tells the story of two American paratroopers who are dropped behind enemy lines during the D-Day invasion to destroy a German communication center.
As the soldiers make their way to the site, they find that there is more to the location than meets the eye as they are forced to not only take on the Nazis soldiers, but the supernatural force that their experiments have unleashed. Overlord stars Wyatt Russell (22 Jump Street), Bokeem Woodbine (Spider-Man: Homecoming) and Ian De Caestecker (Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD). It is expected to be released October 26, 2018.
