The Rundown: The Wonder Twins have a short window in order to prevent a global catastrophe, but should they?

Zan and Jayna are tasked with finding out where the Scrambler might be as he initiates the first part of his plan to scramble the consciousness of one million people before moving on to the rest of the world. Unbeknownst to the rest of the world and the Justice League, the Scrambler has help from someone close to Jayna.

With the clock ticking and no answers coming from the multiple investigations, the world starts to make plans for what will be a potential disaster for everyone on the planet. Jayna finds out where the Scrambler is and who is working with him. A revelation that leads the Wonder Twin to wonder whether or not she is doing the right by stopping the Scrambling or not.

The Story: Mark Russell usually keeps the stories light in this series, but this one asks some relatively serious questions about what real empathy would look like if one woke up in the body of someone else. Some aspects of the arc have been problematic as a reader, but this issue was very entertaining. I wish more time was spent with Polly as a character, but Russell has positioned her to be a truly consequential one going forward.

The Art: Great art from Stephen Bryne. The light tone of the series and its art still allow for great panels and details.
