The Rundown: Logan gets an unexpected visit from the very mutant he’s been hunting for.

Logan finds himself drinking alone on the island and wondering what to make of Solem after hearing more about the mutant. As he contemplates who and what Solem is, the man himself decides to saunter in and offer to buy Logan a drink. After a not so pleasant exchange, Solem decides to give Logan something he wants, answers. Unfortunately, those answers will require Logan to help Solem with his problem. A problem in the name of Sevyr Blackmore.

After telling Wolverine what happened to the diamonds that launched his investigation in the first place and Solem tells him that they are where they were supposed to go. After hatching a plan to stop Sevyr, Logan quickly finds himself betrayed and fighting for his life as he deduces that after this encounter, he’s going to need some powerful help to bring down Solem and his plans.

The Story: Percy crafts an entertaining and layered adventure for Wolverine. The intrigue and action are well done. The characters are compelling and interesting and the mystery Logan is uncovering is engaging. The story moves really well and does a great job of setting up the next arc for the character.

The Art: Kubert delivers some beautiful, powerful and energetic art throughout the issue. The imagery is dynamic and full of great action.
