The Rundown: Sara makes a dark deal to save a friend.

Trapped in the sanctuary of the creosotes, Sara must fight a dangerous monster is she has any chance of saving her friend Michael. As the battle rages, her connection to the Witchblade gives her unparalleled strength and a rage that she cannot seem to come out of with Ian’s help.
In the aftermath, she is confronted by Irons who gives her one chance to save Michael. A chance that will require her to travel deep into another realm. Unfortunately, Sara finds herself in the Darkness and fighting to save Jackie Estacado.
The Story: Bennett delivers a thrilling story in this issue. There is wall to wall action throughout the story and some incredible world building that keeps me coming back to this series. I love the drama and betrayal at play in the story as well and I want to see what happens when Sara confronts Ian and Irons again.
The Art: Cafaro delivers beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue.
