The Rundown: A worker alone in space discovers a dangerous secret about his job.

Jim is a family man who has been contracted to mine minerals in an asteroid field in deep space. A contract that will keep him away from his wife and kids for ten years in order to have them set for life. As time goes by, he begins to hear strange things that he attributes to his own failing sanity.
Things get more difficult when his primary communication system fails and he begins to get transmissions from something unexpected. As Jim begins to dig deeper into what he’s doing and what his company expects from him, he finds himself losing his humanity for the sake of his position and what it means for his family.
The Story: Russell crafts a thoughtful, interesting and entertaining mystery in this issue. I liked the mystery in this story a lot. There is great emotion in the story as well as a wonderful theme at the heart of the story. A thoroughly compelling and engaging story with a great ending.
The Art: Doe creates some incredible art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of this issue and the character designs.
