The Rundown: Logan works to reclaim his life while Dr. Prostovich tries to save her own skin.

In the wake of losing their Winter Soldier, Prostovich is desperate to find him before the leaders discover he is missing. Unfortunately, she is too late and is dragged by Omega Red to a meeting with Ilyana. A meeting that will bring the doctor to the heart of Limbo where she will be forced to tell everything she knows or die.
At the same time, Logan deals with the reality of what he was turned into and Kitty does her best to help him remember who he was. After a tense confrontation with Creed, Logan joins the rest of the Opposition as they lay out a new plan that could potentially cripple the Republic’s experiments on mutants.
The Story: Condon delivers an intense and engaging story in this issue. I like seeing Logan take the first steps in reclaiming himself while also dealing with the reality of the acts he performed. I continue to be impressed with how ruthless Condon has made Piotr and Ilyana as the leaders of the Republic. It’s such an interesting and compelling take on these characters and I continue to be surprised and delighted by how scary they are as characters.
The Art: Cappuccio’s art is stunning and I love how the imagery and visuals capture the gritty, dark nature and tone of the storyline.
