The Rundown: Emilia and her companion continue their journey, but they are not alone.

After losing one of the women who taught him about his new life, the mystery man thinks back on his time on the planet as he finds Emilia and continues their journey.

Fearful of her power, but committed to the promise he made, the pair continue as a shadow not only watches their journey, but gets closer. A shadow that will reveal something dark for Emilia as they get closer to their destination.

The Story: An engaging, entertaining story from Valentine. The character development continues to be one of the best aspects of the series and the story has some dark and interesting elements throughout. Both of these characters apart and together are compelling and I enjoy exploring their individual stories as well as their interpersonal relationship. I also really love the end of the issue and where it leaves the characters and conflict.

The Art: I love the visual style of this issue. There are so many great scenes to engage with and I loved the shadows stalking them throughout the issue and spotting them made me go back and read it again to find any that I might have missed.
