Long rumored to be the worst at keeping things secret, Spider-Man actor Tom Holland might have inadvertantly revealed the title of the sequel to 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.

In an Instagram post, Holland greeted fans as he was about to take the stage at ACE Comic Con and apologized for their not being any revelations about the sequel to Homecoming (even joking about the fact that his character seemingly died in Avengers Infinity War). It’s unclear whether or not this was a mistake or deliberate, but the fact that Holland started by saying that there was nothing to reveal and following it up with this one is both fun and interesting. During the video, he held up an IPad that showed a title of what might be the Homecoming sequel:

Sorry for no announcements, but I love you guys ♥️

Spider-Man: Far From Home

While the title doesn’t reveal much, it does open the floodgates of speculation. I reported recently that the filming of the sequel would take place all over the globe. Something confirmed by Kevin Feige; “Spidey, of course, will spend some time in New York, but he’ll spend some time in other parts of the globe.” he said. The “Far From Home” moniker is also telling considering the last time we saw the webslinger, he was as far from home as one can get.
