Titans is set to debut on the DC Universe streaming service October 12th and at this year’s New York Comic Con, fans were given some news about the future of the live action series.

According to multiple outlets, including Deadline, Titans has been renewed for a second season ahead of its series premiere. The early renewal announcement means that the Greg Berlanti produced series will continue on the streaming service as well as on Netflix internationally after an agreement was reached to air the series in markets where DC Universe is not available.

In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson (Thwaites) emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire (Diop), Raven (Croft), Beast Boy (Potter) and others. Titans is a dramatic, live-action adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book teams ever.

Titans is a production of Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and his Berlanti Productions, Weed Road Pictures and Warner Bros. TV.
