The Rundown: Donna Troy receives a letter that sends her on a journey to discover her past.

Donna Troy has received a letter from her father asking to meet and she decides to take the journey to meet him while also thinking back on the journey that made her a hero. From the accident that brought her face to face with Wonder Woman to her return to the world after her training, Donna remembers the family she has made in her journeys.
She thinks of her first moments as a Titan and the deep friendship she made with Dick Grayson as well as the tumultuous relationship she had with another team member. As she thinks of what she’s lost and what she’s gained, she discovers the truth about her father and the life he had without her.
The Story: Jimenez crafts a beautifully thoughtful and interesting journey into the life of Donna Troy. I like the scope of the story and how it manages to focus on Donna as a person as she navigates a deeply personal journey while also tying that journey to the life she’s had as a hero and the family she has created along the way. There are some fun, sweet and engaging moments throughout the story and I loved the confrontation with Batman and how it was presented.
The Art: Jimenez delivers beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. I love the character designs and the wonderfully intricate backgrounds and how they enhance the character moments.
