Three more stars have climbed on board Josh Boone’s adaptation of Stephen King’s opus The Stand.

According to an article in Deadline, Eion Bailey, Katherine McNamara and Hamish Linklater have joined the cast of the upcoming series from writer/director Josh Boone.

Eion Bailey is known for roles in series like Once Upon A Time and Band of Brothers. Bailey will take on the role of Teddy Weizak, a survivor of the superflu who becomes a member of the Boulder crew responsible for removing the dead bodies from the city. He works alongside Harold Lauder. Weizak was previously played by writer Stephen King in the miniseries.

Katherine McNamara is known for roles in series like Glee, Arrow and Shadowhunters. She will take on the role of Julie Lawry in the series. Lawry is a small town girl with a violent streak and has a run in with traveling companions Nick Andross and Tom Cullen before making her way to Las Vegas and Randall Flagg.

Hamish-Linklater-to-star-in-TV-Land-pilot-I-Shudder

Hamish Linklater is known for roles in series like Legion and Newsroom. He’s also been seen in films like The Big Short. Linklater will play Dr. Ellis, a military colonel specializing in infectious diseases that believes that he can stop the superflu.

The trio will join Alexander Skarsgard, James Marsden, Amber Heard, Odessa Young, Jovan Adepo, Owen Teague, Henry Zaga, Brad William Henke, Whoopi Goldberg, Daniel Sunjata and Nat Wolff in Vancouver where the series is already filming.
