The Rundown: The warriors of Asgard gather for the final confrontation with Donald Blake.

Thor has taken control of the Destroyer and stands alongside the warriors returned to deal with the threat of a rampaging Donald Blake infused with the power of Odin. As the battle begins, Blake is given the full power of the new All-Father and finds himself unable to stop him. Even after stealing Mjolnir, Blake is no match for Thor, Odin and Doctor Strange. With Blake on the ropes, he implores Odin to kill him and end his pain.

Unfortunately, Thor has other plans for his nascent brother. After an uncomfortable moment with his father, the fate of Donald Blake falls to someone who knows the pain of being the son of Odin. Someone who understands what Blake has been going through, Loki. What the former god of Lies has in store for Blake might be something the man regrets for all time.

The Story: Donny Cates brings this arc to an epic and satisfying conclusion. The action is great, but the evolution of the characters including Thor and Loki is one of the best parts of the book. The tension between Thor and Odin was equally as compelling and I love the future arcs being teased throughout. This was a great ending and I cannot wait to see what will happen next.

The Art: Nic Klein delivers some beautiful art in this issue. The fight scenes were brilliantly brutal and gorgeously detailed.
