The Rundown: Geralt enlists help to track a vampire feasting on a small town.

Geralty continues his hunt for the vampire reported to be terrorizing a small town. The young boy he saved has decided to come along as his squire, but Geralt discovers quickly that the wolf he killed the night before has disappeared.

Desperate for answers, Geralt returns to the town to check out the body of the last victim and free the young woman who promised him answers. As the three head into the woods, they find a small house abandoned. Geralt finds himself attacked by the Witcher from the Bear tribe and a pack of undead wolves. An attack that will reveal some interesting and dangerous secrets.

The Story: Spurrier creates a thrilling adventure in this issue. It does a great job of continuing to build the world of this adventure and give Geralt more agency in the events around him. I like the new characters in the story and how they interact with Geralt. I also really enjoy the conflict within the story as well as the reveal and what it means for the rest of the story.

The Art: green delivers great art in the issue. The visuals are lively, interesting and capture the tone and mood of the story.
