The Rundown: Wanda and Vision must survive a game of memories if they are to find the Reaper.

As he prepares to present a gift to the creature that has resurrected him, Reaper tells the entity that he has a special gift for Vision and Wanda. The pair find themselves in the presence of Vision’s dead son Vin. In his new form, Vision finds himself giving in to his emotions and asking Wanda not to dispel the ghost as the pair follow him to the first of a series of games laid out by Reaper.
As they play the games, they find themselves reliving their own relationship and seeing what life could have been for the pair. As the games attempt to drown the duo in the pain of loss, Wanda and Vision find themselves appreciating those moments just before Reaper arrives to destroy them once and for all.
The Story: Orlando delivers a beautiful, tragic, sweet and endearing story in this issue and it reminds me of why I loved these two characters as a couple. The characters play off each other so well in this story and their determination and connection are apparent throughout the issue. There is a wonderfully tragic undertone to the story and Orlando manages to deftly explore that tragedy with these two characters knowing the truth and working together to support each other through it.
The Art: Tammetta and Camagni offer some beautifully detailed and stunning imagery throughout the issue. I love the character designs and how darkly intimate the setting is.
