The Rundown: The Outliers discover a dark secret in Haven while Gambit deals with his pact with a dragon.

Henrietta Benjamin continues her journey to the south to bring something special to a specific place. As she finds herself in New Orleans, she is greeted by a young man who is sent to take her where she needs to go not knowing that they are being watched. As they make their way to their destination, the pair are attacked and Henrietta reveals her dangerous and powerful mutation.
In the present, Gambit and Sadurang are still in the Savage Land and when Gambit refuses to return the Eye, the dragon takes him home where it is immediately attacked by Rogue. At the same time, the kids find themselves confronted by Man-Thing where one of them must face her own secrets for the rest to be allowed through to meet the voice in the dark.
The Story: Simone crafts a brilliantly dark and engaging story in this issue. Each part of the story weaves together perfectly and I love how each part of the story complements the others. There is a great buildup of tension both in the Henrietta story and with the kids as they travel deeper into the graveyard. All of the characters have something unique and interesting about them and I continue to enjoy the reveals in each issue.
The Art: Marquez delivers fantastic art throughout the issue. From the character designs to the action, every page and panel has something beautiful and compelling to look at.
