The Rundown: Tony Stark decides to make a huge change to his plans to save the world.

After receiving a visit from Janet, Tony returns to reality as he begins the next phase of a new plan for the Ultimates. As he speaks to the spirit of his dead father, Tony recounts that trying to bring back a world changed by the Maker was a flawed plan and he reveals that he is working on a new one. A plan that will require reaching out to the people who will listen rather than finding the heroes that should have been.
As he continues his plans which include bringing in help from Luke Cage, Stark realizes that there has to be more to the Ultimates than counteracting the Maker and his allies. They are determined to do things smarter with the second chance they’ve been given. Unfortunately, Tony’s concentration on saving the world from the Maker will blind him to betrayal growing within his own ranks.
The Story: Camp continues to craft a thrilling, intense and thoroughly entertaining mystery in this issue. I love the chances this series takes and how this issue shows an evolution in the mission that was much needed. There is a wonderful sense of urgency as Tony and the reader continue with the realization that time is running out. Every issue of this series continues to engage me and I cannot wait to see where it goes next.
The Art: Frigeri delivers beautifully detailed and visually stunning art throughout the issue. I love the art style and how it captures and enhances the drama of every moment.
