Honor is taking the biggest risk of her new life in this issue as she and her unsuspecting family fly to what they think is a resort vacation. Only Honor knows the real reason for the trip, to make sure Talia Al Ghul is dead. After the shootout in the restaurant and stabbing Talia, Honor is dealing with the aftermath, more specifically, what her son might have witnessed regarding the gunfight.

As she wakes from a nightmare and begins to talk to her little boy, she learns that he wasn’t alone in the diner during the fight and that the person he was with is also on board the plane. Realizing who and what the two people her son identified are, Honor has to find a way to separate from her family, isolate the two people stalking them and figure out a way to stop them and find out what they know. Unfortunately, all of it has to be done at 35,000 feet.

Abnett continues to push the envelope with this character and the situations that he’s putting her in and the inevitable reveal of her hidden life to her family ramps up the tension in the book. All of Honor’s secrets make for some great storytelling and Abnett proves that he can craft a really good story with action and intrigue while making the reader care about the character and her decisions. While there are moments that stretch logic to a razor thin edge, the story has great balance in both the narrative and the action and I continue to find myself drawn into Honor’s story and her desire for a normal life.

Bogdanovic does a great job with the art in this issue as well. There are so many moments where the action blends seamlessly with the story and the fight scenes feel claustrophobic given the location. It does a great job of bringing  the reader into the character’s surroundings and creating a sense of scale.
