The Rundown: Ernie is captured by space hippies and finds himself at another crossroads.

Ernie is on the run from the advanced guard of a neoliberal, hippie leader who wants the power in side of him. After being confronted by one that feeds off of guilt, she quickly discovers that Agent Scumbag doesn’t have any. Unfortunately, the rest of his team isn’t so lucky and they find themselves at the mercy of or more minions.

Sister Mary goes after Scumbag, but he wakes up to find himself in a situation that isn’t too far removed from the one he came from before. As he’s given a tour of the operation, he is given a choice of who he will serve when the hippies decide to drop their love bomb on the world and just to sweeten the pot, they plan to throw in the object of his lust.

The Story: Consistently fun and a little maddening, Remender continues to craft some complicated characters that find themselves in the presence of one that is pretty easy to figure out. The temptation aspects of the story are the most entertaining because they expose not only the dark sides of the conflicting ideologies, but they also serve as a way of trying to figure out exactly what Ernie wants and believes.

The Art: Mobili delivers some awesome visuals throughout this issue. The characters look great. The action is thrilling and the art perfectly captures the tone of the story.
