The Rundown: Lindy must master the greatest mystery in her academic life if she’s ever going to escape the Dreaming while Ruin’s allies summon a familiar face.

Lindy is still trapped in the Dreaming surrounded by possibly answers as to who the real Shakespeare is. After running down the story of her life, she finds herself no closer to the truth of the question, but still needing to escape in order to be with her daughter.

Back in the real world, Ruin and his allies attempt to find a way to return to the Dreaming in order to rescue Lindy, but their attempt to summon a faire to guide them results in conjuring Puck himself who is in no mood to help and wants the child they are watching.

At the same time, Dream wants to know how Ruin escaped the box of nightmares and after speaking with Brute and Glob, he discovers the answer and vanishes to punish who he knows is responsible.

The Story: G Willow Wilson crafts a wonderful story in this issue that not only continues Lindy and Ruin’s stories, but also touches on the history of the series and its characters. I loved seeing the return of Brute and Glob as well as Puck. The dialogue is fantastic and the wonder of the story is enhanced by the richness of the characters.

The Art: Nick Robles does an amazing job with the art in this issue. The characters look great and the fantastical elements are brought to life beautifully.
